Day – 1
In the morning our driver and representative will pick you from Varanasi Airport. Later you will be driven to Sarnath which is the spiritual hub of Buddhism. This is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. In the 3rd century B.C. the famous Maurayan ruler Ashoka who was a devout of Lord Buddha erected stupas and monasteries at this place. You will have a guided tour of the famous Dhamek stupa and Chaukhandi stupa. Afterwords you visit the Sarnath museum which houses the Valuable art work. After finishing the tour of Sarnath you will be driven to your pre booked hotel in Varanasi. In the evening we take you Dashashwamedh Ghat for evening Aarti ceremony. You can be a witness to the river worship where you see the river Ganges being worshipped as an embodiment of Goddess with ringing of bells, clarions call and offering of flowers and lighting of earthier Lamps. Later you will be back for overnight in the hotel.
Day -2
This morning we will pick you from your hotel and you will embark the luxury cruise liner called Alaknanda. This cruise has the capacity of 60 persons’ sitting and has the facility of WiFi. The lower deck of the ship is fully air-conditioned which can be a better escape from the scorching heat of May and June. The upper and the lower decks are having bio – toilets and is equipped with full- fleged kitchen which will serve the traditional Varanasi cuisines and snacks like kachori jalebi and samosa. It will start from Assi Ghat and will sail up to Alaknanda Ghat covering a distance of more than 3 kms each way. Thus you will enjoy the bibrant Ghats, the Ganges and the local folk customs.
After finishing the luxury cruise journey you will have a guided city tour of Varanasi which includes the visit of the old Banaras Hindu University, Bharat Kala Bhawan (Indian Art Museum), Sankat Mochan Mandir etc. Later you step into age old streets of Varanasi for a walking tour and here you get the chance to be in communion with local life, their customs and traditions. This walk is done in the bye lanes of Varanasi where you enjoy the food street and can savour the local delicacies. You also see the flower market perfume market etc and you can go on a shopping spree. At the end of your full day tour we drop you back to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
