Paro Arrival

Arrive at Paro International Airport, where you will be welcomed and assisted with your transfer.

Travel through the beautiful Paro Valley to your hotel and complete check-in. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxed introduction to Bhutan.

Take time to rest after your journey or explore the nearby surroundings at your own pace.

Paro → Taktsang Monastery → Paro

After breakfast, prepare for the highlight of your Bhutan journey — the excursion to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest).

Enjoy the scenic hike through pine forests and mountain landscapes towards the monastery, dramatically positioned on a cliffside above the Paro Valley. Take time to appreciate the spiritual atmosphere and spectacular surroundings before beginning the descent.

Later, return to Paro and enjoy a relaxed afternoon.

Depending on your energy level, explore the local area or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the valley.

Paro → Thimphu

After breakfast, check out and travel by road from Paro to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city.

Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast, spend the day discovering the cultural and historical highlights of Thimphu.

Visit Buddha Dordenma, one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks, and enjoy panoramic views over the Thimphu Valley.

Continue with selected attractions such as Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong and other cultural sites depending on the day’s sightseeing route.

Take time to experience Bhutanese traditions, local crafts and the relaxed character of the capital.

Return to your hotel later in the day and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Thimphu → Dochula → Punakha

After breakfast, depart Thimphu and travel towards Punakha through the spectacular Dochula Pass.

Stop at Dochula to enjoy the Himalayan scenery and visit the famous 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens. On clear days, the pass offers impressive views of the surrounding mountain ranges.

Continue towards the beautiful Punakha Valley.

On arrival, visit Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most important and architecturally impressive dzongs, situated at the meeting point of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers.

Check in to your hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening in the valley.

Punakha → Paro

After breakfast, enjoy some time in the Punakha Valley before beginning the journey back to Paro.
