Day 1: Arrival in Bodh Gaya
Arrive at Gaya Airport or Railway Station, where our representative will welcome you. Transfer to your hotel and relax. Later, visit the Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Great Buddha Statue, and nearby monasteries. Overnight stay in Bodh Gaya.
Day 2: Bodh Gaya – Rajgir – Nalanda – Bodh Gaya
After breakfast, drive to Rajgir. Visit Vulture Peak (Griddhakuta), Venu Vana Monastery, and the Japanese Peace Pagoda. Continue to Nalanda to explore the ancient Nalanda University ruins and Archaeological Museum before returning to Bodh Gaya. Overnight stay.
Day 3: Bodh Gaya – Varanasi
After breakfast, drive to Varanasi. Check in to your hotel. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 4: Varanasi – Sarnath – Kushinagar
Early morning, enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges. After breakfast, visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Explore Dhamek Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihara, and Chaukhandi Stupa before driving to Kushinagar. Overnight stay in Kushinagar.
Day 5: Kushinagar – Lumbini
After breakfast, visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple and Ramabhar Stupa. Later, cross the India–Nepal border and drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Lumbini.
Day 6: Lumbini Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the sacred sites of Lumbini, including the Maya Devi Temple, Sacred Garden, Ashoka Pillar, World Peace Pagoda, and international monasteries. Overnight stay in Lumbini.
Day 7: Lumbini – Gorakhpur
After breakfast, drive back to Gorakhpur via the India–Nepal border. Enjoy free time to relax or explore the local market. Overnight stay in Gorakhpur.
Day 8: Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Gorakhpur Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of your 8 Days India Nepal Buddhist Tour.
