Overview: – 8 Days Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour is planned to help you explore the sacred Buddhist sites of Bodh Gaya, Sarnath, Kushinagar, and Rajgir in a comfortable way. We will pick you up from your preferred location and provide a guided tour with a private cab and experienced driver throughout the journey.
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Bodh Gaya
Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the airport to board your flight to Bodh Gaya. On arrival, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, visit the Mahabodhi Temple for prayers and meditation. Overnight stay in Bodh Gaya.
Day 2: Bodh Gaya Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day tour of Bodh Gaya. Visit the Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Great Buddha Statue, Sujata Village, Niranjana River, and various international monasteries. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Bodh Gaya – Rajgir – Nalanda – Bodh Gaya
After breakfast, drive to Rajgir and visit Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture Peak), Venu Vana Monastery, and the Japanese Peace Pagoda. Continue to Nalanda to explore the ancient Nalanda University ruins and Archaeological Museum. Return to Bodh Gaya for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Bodh Gaya – Varanasi
After breakfast, drive to Varanasi. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the evening, witness the spectacular Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Day 5: Varanasi – Sarnath – Varanasi
Early morning boat ride on the River Ganges followed by breakfast. Later, visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Explore Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Mulagandha Kuti Vihara, and the Archaeological Museum. Return to Varanasi for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Varanasi – Kushinagar
After breakfast, drive to Kushinagar, the place where Lord Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana. Visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple, Ramabhar Stupa, and Wat Thai Temple. Check in to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 7: Kushinagar – Delhi
After breakfast, transfer to Gorakhpur Airport to board your flight to Delhi (or drive as per itinerary). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 8: Delhi Departure
After breakfast, enjoy free time until your scheduled transfer to Delhi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey with unforgettable memories of your Buddhist pilgrimage tour.
